Newcomers & New Friends of Greater Seattle

Make friends and create memories while having fun

Have you recently moved to the Seattle area? Are you at a transition stage of life and want to meet people with similar and/or new interests? If so, our group welcomes you!

Newcomers of Seattle was established over 60 years ago offering new women residents of the Emerald City and surrounding communities opportunities to explore the area and get to know one another.  Long-time Washington residents expanding their circle of friends, women who have recently left the workforce, or have experienced life changes, are also welcome.

Our members are active and involved in the Greater Seattle area, which includes Auburn, Bellevue, Edmonds, Everett, Issaquah, Kirkland, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Mukilteo, Redmond, and Renton, as well as surrounding communities and towns. Attend our events for the camaraderie and friendship of women with diverse interests and lives.  Our monthly luncheons and small group activities are designed to acquaint members with various attractions, and cultural events while developing great friends.

How do you know if this group is right for you? Take a look at the activity list. You’ll find diverse gatherings with many opportunities to meet throughout each month. Our most active members often convene several times each week, sharing friendship, exploring attractions and experiencing cultural activities.
